Abstract

This article aims at analyzing the PhD dissertation based on mathnavi Fakhria-tu Nizam by Ghaziuddin Khan-III. He was a disciple of Khawaja Fakhruddin Chishti Dahlavi. Khan produced two works to narrate the life of his mentor. Fakhria-tu Nizam is still unpublished and the prose work Munaqib-e Fakhria was published in 1884 from Hyderabad Daccan. Research scholar Uzma Aziz Khan edited the mathnavi. She based her work of research on two manuscripts. The article writer pointed out some of texts of the work archived in the Maulana Azad Library, Ali Garh, India she could not consult. The article writer admits that the works stocked in the Khanquas of Pakistan remained unindexed for centuries. The article also discloses a manuscript of the mathnavi.
