Abstract

An Afghan Muslim author Tamim Ansari based in America focused Muslim reformers of their times Abdul Wahab, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Jamaluddin Afghani in his work Destiny Disrupted: A History of World through Islamic Eyes. The work is meant to highlight their struggles against the internal and external threats. The writer of the work briefly explains the character of their Islamic projects widely known as Wahabi movement, Aligarh movement and Islamic modernism. Their religious and political struggles are against their own people and the repressive European powers. This piece of writing also covers their brief biographies of the reformers. This also discusses some of the little highlighted issues of their reforms.
