Abstract

The article briefs the published and unpublished works of Riaz-ul Islam, a historian of high stature with particular reference to medieval Hind-Islamic and Hind-Iranic history. The article writer shared his reminisces about the historian and coupled with his short biography. Among those his published works discussed are: Indo-Persian Relegations; Manshaat Hasan Khan Shamlu; A Calendar of Documents on Indo-Persian Relations; Behr al Asrar fi marifatil Akhyar; Wasti Asia: Tarikh, Siasat aur Saqafat; Sufism in South Asia: Impact on Fourteenth Century Muslim Society.
