This article presents the Urdu works of a renowned Arabic scholar and linguist Allama Abdul Aziz Memon. Inspired by the works of his favorite poet Abul Aala Mua’arri, he wrote about his works in Urdu as well. He has also found mistakes in the works and translation of D. S. Margoliouth and Reynold Alleyne Nicholson. Their works have led the entire Europe into wrong direction. The works of Mua’arri translated into English are not free from mistakes. The biographical account written by them contains many mistakes. The article provides his short Urdu pieces. In one of his pieces, he shared the notion of Ibne Khaldun about literature. Ibne Khaldun is about the definition of literature that it is a systematic study of language, history, lexicography, ethics, qawafi, ansaab, akhbaar and prosody.
