This article aims at providing life account and selections of Baqa Ghazipuri’s (1864-1916) from poetry in three languages: Arabic, Persian and Urdu. He was disciple of Maulvi Abdul Ahad Shamshad Lakhnavi. Ghazipuri used to write letters to Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and vice versa. Sir Syed invited him to Aligarh Muslim University to work with him. The article shares his works published. The work Tahzeeb by Allama Saaduddin Taftazani was considered to be a difficult text. Ghazipuri translated the work in Urdu and it was published as Tushihutahzeeb. He had many pupils to train them in poetry. His poetry was published in various Guldastas. Many known Tazkiras such as Khumkhana-e Javed and Yaadgar-e Zaigham selected his for poetry.
