Abstract

Children's literature could be helpful in nurturing their minds.Diversified Genres in it support the idea of epistemological learning with entertainment.In this context,we may put sketches , caricatures and cartoons that have been publishing since the very inception of children's literary magazines .This article traces out the history of pictorial learning in children's literary magazines.Significance of this sort of nurturing has discussed in detail in the beginning while children's literary corner on newspapers,bi-monthly and other children's books have also been critically examined.This topic is of grave importance as children's literature in all languages of world have been flourishing through ages.
